Dr. Thukral also has a strong interest in issues relating to quality of life for patients and their families as they undergo radiation therapy.
Dr. Thukral enjoys spending her leisure time with her husband and her two sons. She also likes gourmet cooking, traveling, dancing, and photography.
When asked why she chose radiation oncology, she states, “I am attracted to this specialty because it is an intellectual and technically-driven discipline with the physician-patient relationship at its core. As a radiation oncologist, I have the privilege and opportunity to help and support cancer patients and their families through the challenging treatment journey they endure.”
